A Meeting Centre for People Living with Dementia

About Lochside Connections

Lochside Connections is the new Meeting Centre for people living with dementia, and their family carers, in Forfar. 


It operates in Strathmore Cricket Club’s facilities at Lochside Park, Graham Crescent, Forfar, DD8 1DU. 


The Meeting Centre makes use of the main clubhouse (which has been upgraded to meet the needs of people living with dementia), the tearoom and kitchen. It also has access to all of the outdoor space for gardening, walking and other outdoor activities.

When asked what activities they might like to do, 

one of our members suggested writing a song....


'Upon Broad Shoulders' is the result of that suggestion; 

inspired by the words, thoughts & feelings of the members.

Walk the Windmills

During the month of April, members, staff, family & friends of Lochside Connections are doing a fundraising challenge - travelling the distance from Forfar to the original Meeting Centre (in Amsterdam) and back again.
